This has been one of my favorite songs to play and groove to within the year 2022. (And still today.) IMRSQD is a really cool new Christian artist from South Africa.
One day I drove home from a real good bible study and this song started playing on my playlist. It reminded me of how blessed my life has become since being a shepherd. There are many joys in life I have gotten to experience, but no joy compares to the joy and blessing that comes from doing the work of God, especially coworking together with Jesus and seeing students responding to God’s words. As Jesus said, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work!”
As it played I also imagined Abraham on a mountain with a staff in his hand dancing to this song and singing, “I’m BLEESSSED TO BE A BLESSINNG!” I’m sure he would enjoy this song 🙂

I’ve been eagerly searching to discover more Christian artists to add to my Spotify playlist and wow, these lyrics! I totally LOL’d at the image of Abraham singing and dancing to this song. Like him, we are all surely BLESSY’D to serve Jesus as shepherds!

Since strawberries are my favorite for its perfect amount of sweetness, perhaps, it could mean “Sweet” Worship to the artist? LOL!

This artist has swag 😎 it’s a new style and very refreshing! I barely know any Christian rap songs but enjoy the rhythm a lot. One melodic rap song I like is “Come back home” by Rare of Breed – I could listen to that all day 😀 Idk if a dance could be made to that for singspiration though lol

“I’m blessed to be a blessing,” is so beautiful! It is true. Due to sins, relationships are broken, but because of God’s abundant grace, mercy and calling, people get to live as mothers and fathers of many nations like Abraham and Sarah.
I was also reminded of when Jesus encourages disciples to wash one another’s feet saying, “now that you know these things, you will be blessed, if you do them.” Living according to his callings is definitely a blessing.
Wow. This song was awesome! Thank you for sharing this. I’ll definitely have this song stuck in my head all day. It also reminds me of the passage this week and how blessed we are as God’s people. Instead of being a source of headache, trouble, and shame, I get to be a source of blessing for others. Yay!
Wow thank you for sharing this song! I can now add this to my playlist now! This song really spoke to me personally because I thought about my Bible study on Numbers 20. When I was meditating on Numbers 20, specifically the part about Aaron’s death, that really got me thinking about how I want to be remembered and how I want my life movie to be like. I remember writing in my testimony for that passage that I want to be remembered as a source of blessing to many people, and this song reminds me of a thanks topic I have for God: He’s blessed me to be a source of blessing!
