I first heard this song in the beginning of the year, 2019. After work, on the drive to campus, I would put music on, and that day, I needed something new. So I shuffled some songs from a playlist and this song came up. I really liked it because in listening to the lyrics, it reflected my life and my hope. Before listening to it, I was feeling hopeless and discouraged. It seemed like I had not seen any change in many aspects of my life, and I just remained the same in sin, with no real vision for my mission and my future. But as I was listening to this song, I had hope in God and his power. As he did before, he can do it again. He can give me something new. We can have a different and new life in God. We don’t have to remain the same and discouraged of what is lacking or what we cannot see yet, because God is working on our glorious future. I just haven’t seen it yet. Oh. Maybe I just haven’t seen it yet 🙂 That’s where my hope will be in: to see the Kingdom of God, and to look forward to a glorious future in Him and his salvation work. My hope is in Jesus.
What have you not seen yet?
I really love this song and think it is the epitome of our Christian lives. We haven’t seen the promises unfolding, but they are just right around the corner. When we work together with God to fight for His dreams to come true in our lives, we find that we are about to see such glorious things take place! Amen and amen. Thanks for posting! Also, there is a live version of this song that I think is really powerful too. Here it is: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6alcNJmjFlw
God bless you!!!

Also — you asked — What have you not seen yet? I think I haven’t seen myself become the person I want to become yet. I am still very disorganized in many ways and think that God is molding me still into all he wants me to be. I think that things are impossible in my life instead of possible together with God, and I think God is granting me more faith. I think that I just haven’t seen myself become all I want to become yet, and that God is in the process of making me along with me making efforts. I must believe and have faith and also see 7 disciples raised through me this year amen!
Very inspirational song! One day, we will say, “Not one of God’s promises failed; every one was fulfilled!”
That part that you talked about how we don’t have to remain the same or be discouraged about what is lacking or cannot see yet is inspirational to me. As I look at reality, I can be discouraged but when I think about God working on our glorious future then I can look forwards the glorious future that is to come. That even affects the present. Maybe I haven’t seen it yet, but I can count the stars and believe that God will raise up even many students on my and our campuses that will worship God and that God will restore his beautiful image in me and us!
